• If your kitchen sink seems to be clogged, try turning on your garbage disposal for a few seconds.
• Please do not use a foaming pipe snake, such as Drano or Liquid Plumr. These products can damage your pipes.
• Insert a mechanical snake into the drain and run the length of it into the pipe. Discount stores often carry easy-to-use snakes like “Zip-It” which can work well with a simple hair clog. When the entirety of the snake is inserted, pull it – and whatever was causing the clog – out of the pipe, and dispose of everything properly.
